Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abu El-Nasr (born 1953) is a prominent Egyptian academic and engineer. He served as Minister of Education from 2013 to 2015 and currently serves as Director of the Arab Open University in Egypt. He is an Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, a specialist in the development of technical education, and the author of more than 80 scientific research papers and patents.
