Artificial
Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force with immense potential
to support sustainable development across various sectors. In the context of
Egypt, AI offers innovative solutions to national challenges such as water
scarcity, food security, healthcare access, and education quality. By
leveraging AI technologies, Egypt can improve efficiency, enhance
decision-making, and drive inclusive growth in line with the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030. This presentation
explores how AI is being applied across key areas to accelerate sustainable
development and create a more resilient and prosperous future for the country.

This presentation
explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be strategically applied to
support Egypt’s sustainable development goals in alignment with Egypt Vision
2030. AI plays a critical role in improving efficiency, enhancing
decision-making, and enabling smart, data-driven solutions across various
sectors. Key applications include smart agriculture for food security,
AI-assisted healthcare for better access and early diagnosis, personalized
education tools, optimized energy and environmental management, and smart city
planning. Despite its potential, Egypt faces challenges such as limited data
access, infrastructure gaps, and the need for AI talent development. The
government has responded through initiatives like the National AI Strategy and
partnerships with international organizations. To fully harness AI’s benefits,
the country must invest in education, ethical guidelines, and innovation
support. Overall, AI represents a powerful tool for driving inclusive,
sustainable progress in Egypt.
