The IEEE Egypt Section is a regional branch of the world’s largest technical professional organization, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Established in 1955, it is one of the oldest IEEE sections in the Arab and African regions.

To empower engineers, researchers, and students in Egypt by connecting them with cutting-edge technologies, research, and global networks, and to promote the integration of academic innovation into industry.
Mission:
To create a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, and technological advancement through organizing scientific conferences, workshops, and student activities.
Main Activities and Services:
Hosting national and international scientific conferences.
Supporting student branches across Egyptian universities.
Organizing technology competitions such as IEEEXtreme and "Made in Egypt".
Delivering workshops and professional training programs.
Promoting women’s participation in engineering via the WIE initiative.
